got a -06 hose and need a straight male BSPP end, is this the right fitting or am i off a size?

The key callouts are G 1/2 male BSPP (parallel) on the threaded end and -06 on the hose side. If your port is G 1/2 BSPP and your hose is size -06, this matches those two connection points.

does this fitting work without a mandrel during install, or do i need to pick one up separate?

No mandrel needed for this one. The crimp design on the TTC fitting handles the connection without that extra tooling step, which cuts down on setup time and keeps things simpler at the bench.

I'm looking to replace a fitting on my tractor. How can I be sure this one will fit my hose?

This fitting is designed for a -06 hose size. If your tractor uses that size, and you need a G 1/2 Male BSP (British Standard Pipe) Parallel thread, it should work.
