Product Questions & Answers

trying to replace a fitting i busted, is this one a 3/4 female bsp swivel on a -12 hose with a 45 elbow?
Question by: Hugh W on Feb 27, 2026, 11:19 AM
Match it up by the callouts: it has a G 3/4 female BSPP swivel on one end, it crimps onto a -12 hose on the other end, and the body is a 45 degree elbow style.

we got a rig that takes a beating with shock loads. is this elbow gonna handle that alright
Question by: Freddie W on Jan 4, 2026, 7:45 PM
Applications involving shock hazards require the H277 or H435 options. The 1A12BFA12 crimp fitting is strictly for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic lines.

fitting says no mandrel required, does that mean I can crimp this onto my -12 hose without any extra tooling beyond the crimper itself?
Question by: Dwight S on Sep 8, 2025, 7:46 PM
Correct, no mandrel is needed for installation. You just need your crimping equipment and the appropriate thread sealant on the G 3/4 BSP end to keep things sealed up tight. The drop dimension on this one is 1.1200 inches, so make sure your crimper setup accounts for that. It's rated for H277 or H435 hose where shock hazards are a concern, so double-check your hose selection before you crimp.

Will this fitting hold up in a hydraulic system that sees a lot of vibration and shock?
Question by: Kent M on Aug 5, 2025, 5:33 PM
For hydraulic applications where shock hazards are common, this fitting is designed to be used with either H277 or H435 hose.

trying to swap out a crimp end on my -12 hose. is this one the right deal for a 3/4 BSPP female swivel, 45 degree?
Question by: Frank R on Feb 13, 2026, 8:32 AM
Match it up by the connection and hose size: this fitting is a G 3/4 female BSP (BSPP standard) swivel on one end and it’s built for a -12 hose with a 45 degree elbow. It’s a steel crimp fitting in the Global TTC line, so it’s meant to be crimped onto the hose rather than threaded on.
