Does this fitting work without any thread sealant, or do I need to pick some up before I start the job?

No sealant needed on this one. The banjo end is designed to seal through the bolt and sealing washers, so adding thread compound would actually work against you. Get the bolt torqued properly and you're good to go.

i’ve got -06 hose on the truck, will this fitting crimp onto that and still give me a straight shot
