trying to swap out a fitting on my -08 hose, is this the straight female JIC swivel with 3/4-16 threads?

fitting says no mandrel needed, does that actually make a difference during assembly or is that just marketing talk?

Skipping the mandrel step genuinely speeds up the crimping process. Without it, there are fewer parts to manage during assembly and less chance of a misstep that throws off the crimp. For shops running production lines or doing field repairs, that adds up. It's a real design consideration, not just a selling point.

It's designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications and is especially recommended where shock hazards might be present. Consider using H277 or H435 hoses for best results in those situations.

You’re looking at a straight crimp fitting with a 3/4-16 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on one end and it’s made to crimp onto a -08 hose.
