The pin diameter for this cylinder is 1 inch.

got a 1/2 npt hose setup already. are the ports on this cylinder 1/2 npt or am i gonna need adapters

Ports are 1/2 NPT on this cylinder, so it matches a 1/2 NPT hose and fitting setup.

rated load on this one says 17,600 lbs, is that the push force or does it change depending on direction?

Push force (extend) and retract force are technically different due to the rod taking up some of the piston area, but the 17,600 lb rated load listed for this cylinder reflects the extend side at 2500 PSI, which is your higher-force direction. Retract force will be slightly less because the 1.25-inch rod reduces the effective area on that side. For most applications the extend rating is what folks size against, so 17,600 lbs is the right number to work from when figuring out if this fits your load requirements.
