got a tight bend to make, is this hose already a 90 or do i have to try and bend it myself

It comes as a 90 degree elbow, so you are not trying to force a straight piece into a bend. The inner diameter is 3.00 inches and the overall length is 6 inches.

Got a 3-inch intake hose on a cooling setup and need a 90-degree turn without kinking up the line. This the right piece for that?

For a 3.00-inch ID application that needs a clean 90-degree bend, this is exactly the kind of fitting that handles that transition. The molded elbow holds its shape under pressure where a straight hose would collapse or kink if forced into a tight turn. At 6 inches in total length, there's enough straight run on each leg to seat properly onto barbed or clamped fittings without fighting the geometry of your setup.
