Three seal materials are available: Buna-N, Viton, and EPDM. For standard hydraulic oil and mineral-based fluid applications, Buna-N covers the typical range you'd run into, rated from -4°F up to 195°F. Viton handles higher temps up to 392°F and works well if your system runs hot or if you're dealing with more aggressive fluids. EPDM goes the other direction, rated down to -40°F, so it's useful in cold environments. For everyday hydraulic oil use in normal operating conditions, Buna-N is the practical choice, but if your temps push toward the upper end, Viton gives you more headroom.

The hose end is a female 1/4 JIC connection, so it is meant to connect to 1/4 JIC measurement, control, or switching devices.

Maximum working pressure for this Stauff test point hose is 5800 PSI. It's also rated for connection under pressure up to 5800 PSI, so you should be good to go up to that level.
