This valve is versatile enough to handle relief, counterbalance, sequence, pressure reducing, direct check, and flow control applications due to its multiple available functions.

Cracking pressure comes in at 15 PSI, which is pretty standard for pilot-operated check applications. On the pressure side, the body is ductile iron rated to 4500 PSI maximum operating pressure, so continuous high-pressure duty is well within what this valve was built for. The internal parts are hardened steel, and Viton seals are standard, both of which hold up better over long run times than softer materials would.
