Group Description	The SV5-8-C is a 2-way, 2-position, poppet type, pilot operated, normally closed screw-in cartridge solenoid valve, and requires a machined cavity or housing for installation. This valve is used in applications requiring low leakage.
Flow Rating	6 GPM.

Internal Leakage	Less than 5 drops per minute maximum @ 3000 PSI.
Note	Performance data is typical with fluid at 105 SSU and 120°F.
Operation	In the de-energized position, the SV5-8-C blocks flow from port 2 to port 1, and free flow is allowed from port 1 to port 2. In the energized position, flow from port 1 to port 2 is restricted and free flow is allowed from port 2 to port 1.
Pressure Rating	3000 PSI.
Recommended Filtration	ISO 4406 Cleanliness Level 18/16/13 or cleaner.
Solenoid Connectors	(Required on models that use DIN 43650 connectors).
Temperature Range	-40°F to 248°F (Extreme Limits).
