Will this fit in a standard C-10-3 cavity?

This solenoid cartridge valve requires a C-10-3 cavity. Housings are sold separately.

got a 3-way circuit and need to know how it shifts. when it aint powered up, which ports are open on this SV1-10-3?

With the coil de-energized, flow goes from port 2 to port 1 and port 3 is blocked. When you energize the solenoid, it switches so flow goes from port 1 to port 3 and port 2 is blocked.

Bought the cartridge but realized after the fact the coil ain't included. What series coil am I gonna need to get this thing workin?

You'll want a J Series 20 Watt coil, sold separately. The cartridge itself is just the valve body, so the coil has to be ordered on its own. If your setup uses a DIN 43650 connector, you'll also need the matching solenoid connector since that's required on models using that connector style. Make sure you're sourcing the right coil for your voltage requirements before you put the order in.
