Can this hose handle both air and water, or is it strictly for air lines?

Air and water both run fine through it. The Sunrise Multiflex is rated up to 300 PSI at operating conditions and carries a 900 PSI burst rating, so it holds up well for either task. Just keep petroleum products away from it, things like gasoline, oils, or greases will break down the SBR tube over time and cause the hose to fail.
