Got a cylinder here with a 3-inch bore and I need to swap out the piston seal. Will the PS1600-48 drop right in, or do I need to check anything on the groove dimensions first?

For a clean fit, your groove diameter needs to be right at 2.603 inches and the groove width tolerance runs +0.003 / -0. The piston diameter this seal is built around is 2.999 inches, with a tolerance of +0 / -0.004. One thing worth noting is that the piston diameter spec assumes you're running without wear rings. If your setup uses wear rings, those dimensions won't apply directly, so account for that before you commit to the swap.
