fitting says "reduced bore" on it, does that mean it won't work on a full bore -06 hose setup, or is that just about the internal diameter?

Reduced bore refers to the internal flow path being slightly smaller than a full bore fitting at the same hose size. For a -06 one-wire braid hose, this fitting is the correct match. Where it matters is in applications where you need maximum flow with minimal restriction. If your system is pressure-driven and not highly sensitive to minor flow reduction, this fitting works fine. Just make sure your hose is a one-wire braid -06 and you're good to go.
