trying to swap out a hose end, is this one meant for -06 hose with that 11/16-16 female ORS swivel?

It matches a -06 hose and uses an 11/16-16 Female O-Ring Face Seal (ORS) swivel end. It’s also a 90 degree elbow, so it turns the line at a right angle instead of running straight.
