i got -12 one wire braid hose. is this the right reusable end for it, or am i lookin at the wrong thing

No sealant or thread tape needed on this one. The 3/4-14 Male NPT connection is made to seal without it, so you can skip that step entirely and still get a solid, leak-free joint. Keeps the install clean and straightforward.
