Product Questions & Answers

So this fitting here, it'll work with a one-wire braid hose, right? Just wanna make sure before I order.
Question by: Brent A on Jan 13, 2026, 8:43 AM
This reusable fitting is indeed designed for one-wire braid hoses, specifically size -24.

i’ve got a -24 hose, is this the right reusable fitting for it, or is that reduced bore thing gonna mess me up?
Question by: Shawn C on Jul 28, 2025, 3:20 PM
For hose fit, it’s built as a reduced bore reusable steel fitting for a -24 hose, and it’s a two-piece nipple assembly in the Danfoss or Eaton 4203 series. The “reduced bore” part is simply the style of this fitting, not a different hose size than the -24 called out.

fitting's got a 1-7/8-12 thread on the JIC end, that's gonna mate up with standard female JIC 37 degree flare connections, right?
Question by: Phil B on Feb 18, 2026, 10:05 AM
Correct on the thread spec. The 1-7/8-12 female JIC end uses a 37 degree flare swivel, which is the standard SAE 37 degree configuration. The swivel feature lets the fitting rotate during installation so you're not fighting the hose to get alignment right. It's a two-piece reusable design, meaning you can disassemble and reuse the fitting rather than cutting and replacing the whole assembly when servicing a line.

got a -24 hose here, will this 4411-24S end fit it or am i mixing up sizes
Question by: Eddie T on Mar 2, 2026, 8:50 PM
The key callouts are right in the part details: it is a reusable two-piece fitting made for -24 hose, with a 1-7/8-12 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on the connection end. If your hose is truly a -24 and you need that JIC 37 flare swivel thread, this is the correct match on size and thread style.

fitting says "reduced bore" on it, does that mean the flow through it's gonna be noticeably restricted compared to a full bore setup?
Question by: Floyd H on Jan 30, 2026, 3:46 PM
Reduced bore fittings do carry a smaller internal diameter than their full bore counterparts, so yes, there is some flow restriction relative to a full bore version at the same hose size. For most standard hydraulic circuits running at moderate flow rates, that difference is manageable and won't cause problems. Where it matters more is in high-flow applications where pressure drop across the fitting becomes a real concern. If your system is already running close to its flow capacity limits, a full bore fitting would be the safer pick. For general line, hose, or tube work where the system isn't pushing maximum flow, this fitting does the job without issue.
