trying to match up a hose end, is this the straight female JIC swivel for a -10 hose with 7/8-14 threads?

No mandrel is required for this fitting, which is part of what makes the reuse process straightforward. You cut the hose to length, reassemble the two-piece fitting onto the new section, and you're back in business. The 1.81-inch hose cutoff dimension is what you'll want to work from when prepping the hose end. Keep that measurement in mind and the reassembly goes smooth.
