For stepping down pipe threads, this bushing matches a 2-11-1/2 male NPTF on one end and a 1-1/4-11-1/2 female NPTF on the other, so it is set up to reduce from 2 inch male NPTF to 1-1/4 inch female NPTF.

It's a reducer bushing with a 2-11-1/2 male NPT on the outside and a 1-1/4-11-1/2 female NPT on the inside, so it threads into a 2-inch port and gives you a 1-1/4-inch female connection to work with.
