i’ve got a 1-1/4-11-1/2 male NPT port and need to step down to 3/4-14 female NPT. is this the right bushing?

For a straight pipe thread reduction, it matches that setup. One end is 1-1/4-11-1/2 male NPTF and the other side is 3/4-14 female NPTF, so it adapts a larger female port down to a 3/4 male NPT connection.

Got a 1-1/4 NPT male port on a pump housing and need to step it down to 3/4 female for a smaller line fitting, this bushing do that?

That's what this one's for. The 2081-20-12S runs 1-1/4-11-1/2 male NPT on the outside and 3/4-14 female NPT on the inside, so it threads into your 1-1/4 port and gives you a 3/4 female opening to work from. Straight reducer bushing, no elbows or offsets involved.
