what's the thread size on both ends of this tee, and are they the same all the way around including the branch?

All three connections on this fitting run 1-11/2 NPT. The male run end, the female run end, and the female branch are all the same size, so you won't be stepping up or down anywhere in the assembly. That keeps things straightforward if you're building out a line that needs a consistent one-inch thread size throughout without mixing reducers into the mix.

got a 1 inch NPT line and need to add a side port, is this tee all the same thread size on every opening?

All three connections are 1-11-1/2 NPT. It gives you a male NPT on one end of the run, and female NPT on the other end of the run plus the branch, so you can keep the same 1 inch NPT thread size through the tee.
