Got a 1-inch NPT fitting on both ends of a section I'm trying to connect up. This a straight-through adapter or does it step down anywhere?

Straight through, same size on both ends. It's 1-11-1/2 male NPT on one side and 1-11-1/2 female NPT on the other, so no reduction happening. You're just extending or transitioning a same-size threaded connection without changing the thread spec.

got a line with 1-11-1/2 male npt on one side and i need female npt on the other, straight through. is this the right adapter?
