What industries is this 90 degree elbow adapter actually built for? Trying to figure out if it fits our operation before I order a bunch of em.

trying to swap out an elbow on a line, is this one 3/8-18 on both ends or am i readin it wrong

Both sides are 3/8-18. One end is a male NPT swivel with an external pipe swivel style, and the other end is a 3/8-18 female NPT with an internal pipe thread.

So this will actually swivel, even after you tighten it down?

That's right. The 3/8-18 Male NPT end is designed to swivel, even after it's tightened to the mating part. This makes it easier to align your hoses or fittings without loosening the connection.
