trying to turn a hose run 90 degrees, is this the elbow that keeps it JIS on both sides?
Question by: Roy B on Mar 30, 2026, 11:23 AM
For a right angle change while staying JIS, this adapter fits that job. It is a 90 degree steel elbow with a 3/4-14 male JIS 30 degree flare on one end and a 3/4-14 female JIS 30 degree flare swivel on the other, so it connects same-size JIS flare fittings.

Reckon this'll work to hook up two 3/4-inch JIS fittings at a 90-degree angle? Just wanna make sure before I order.

For hydraulic circuits needing tight bends, this steel adapter connects 3/4-14 JIS 30-degree flare fittings at a right angle. The swivel on the female end should help with alignment during install too.

Got a machine that uses JIS fittings and I need to make a 90-degree turn in the line without a lot of wiggle room to work with. This the right kind of fitting for that?

For tight-space routing where you need a right-angle direction change between same-size JIS lines, this is exactly what that situation calls for. Both ends are 3/4-14 JIS 30-degree flare, so as long as your existing connections match that thread and flare standard, it'll fit right in. The 90-degree elbow handles the directional change, and the swivel on the female end lets you get everything lined up without fighting the hose during assembly.
