Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system running around 2000 PSI?
Question by: Patty E on Sep 2, 2025, 10:51 AM
This steel adapter is designed for robust durability and optimal resistance to wear, so it should handle 2000 PSI without any problems. It's built for high-pressure environments and is commonly used in systems requiring secure and efficient fluid transfer.

trying to swap out a bent fitting on my line, is this one the kind that goes 1/4-19 male JIS 30 flare over to a 1/4-19 female JIS swivel, 90 degree?
Question by: Kurt A on Nov 30, 2025, 9:16 AM
Match it up by the ends and the angle. This adapter is a 90 degree elbow with a 1/4-19 male JIS 30 degree flare on one side and a 1/4-19 female JIS 30 degree flare swivel on the other, so it fits that exact male to female JIS flare swivel setup.

Does the swivel on the female end actually rotate freely once it's installed, or does it lock down when you tighten everything up?
Question by: Roger F on Sep 2, 2025, 6:38 PM
The female end on this fitting is a swivel, so it stays rotatable even after the connection is made. That's the whole point of the swivel design. It lets you align the hose or line without fighting the fitting during installation, which saves a lot of grief in tight spaces where you can't easily spin the whole assembly.
