got a 3/4 BSPP male port on a hydraulic block and need to add a female swivel connection at a right angle, this the right fitting for that?

That's what this adapter is built for. One end is a 3/4-14 male BSPP that threads into your port, and the other end is a 3/4-14 female BSPP swivel at 90 degrees. So you get your right-angle direction change and a swivel connection in one piece. Both threads are the same size, so no reducers or extra fittings needed in between.
