got a port that's SAE O-Ring Boss 7/8-14 on my pump housing and need to run a line out with a 1-14 ORFS fitting on the hose end, this straight adapter gonna bridge that gap clean?

Yes, that's exactly what this adapter does. One end is 1-14 Male SAE O-Ring Face Seal, the other is 7/8-14 Male SAE O-Ring Boss, and the straight configuration keeps things in line without any angle offset. Built for exactly that transition, it has a 1-14 male SAE O-Ring Face Seal on one end and a 7/8-14 male SAE O-Ring Boss straight thread O-ring connection on the other, so you can join those two styles in one straight adapter.
