On the ORS side it is a 9/16-18 male SAE O-ring face seal, and the pipe side is a 1/4-18 male NPTF.

Got a hydraulic line running into a tight spot on a piece of off-highway equipment and need a 90-degree turn from an SAE O-Ring Face Seal port over to a 1/4 NPT fitting. This the right adapter for that?

That's exactly the application this adapter handles. One end is a 9/16-18 Male SAE O-Ring Face Seal and the other is a 1/4-18 Male NPT, with a 90-degree elbow geometry to redirect the line.
