got an ORS port with 1-3/16-12 threads, is this the right hex plug to cap it off?

For an O-Ring Face Seal male hex plug with 1-3/16-12 threads, this part matches that thread callout and end type. It is a straight ORS plug in the Danfoss and Eaton FF9767T series.

Does this plug need any thread sealant or tape to seal up right, or is it good to go as-is?

No sealant needed. The O-ring face seal design handles the sealing on its own, so there's no need for pipe dope or thread tape. As long as the mating surface is clean and the O-ring is in good shape, you'll get a leak-tight connection without any extra prep work.
