got a port on my hydraulic manifold that's threaded 1-1/16-12 and I need to tie into some 1/2 NPT pipe on the other end -- will this adapter bridge that gap straight through without any extra fittings in between?
Question by: Diane M on Jun 12, 2025, 9:54 AM
That's exactly what this piece does. One end is 1-1/16-12 Male SAE O-Ring Boss and the other is 1/2-14 Male NPT, so you're going straight from that manifold port to your NPT pipe run in a single fitting. No intermediate adapters needed for that transition.

got a hose end with 1/2-14 npt on it. is this the piece that’ll get me over to an SAE o-ring boss port?

It bridges a 1/2-14 male NPT connection over to a 1-1/16-12 male SAE O-Ring Boss straight thread connection, all in a straight adapter.

got a port that’s 1-1/16-12 ORB and i need to end up at 1/2-14 NPT, is this the right adapter?

For that kind of thread changeover, this adapter is a direct match. One end is 1-1/16-12 Male SAE O-Ring Boss (straight thread with an O-ring seal) and the other end is 1/2-14 Male NPT, in a straight configuration.

Got a hydraulic line running 1/2 NPT male on one end and need to tie into a SAE O-ring boss port on the other side. this the right adapter for that?
Question by: Rusty H on Jul 12, 2025, 9:20 AM
Yeah, that's exactly what this one does. One end is a 1-1/16-12 male SAE O-ring boss, which threads into a straight thread O-ring port, and the other end is a 1/2-14 male NPT. So if your line or component has a female NPT fitting and your port is a standard ORB, you're set. The straight design keeps things in line without any angle, which makes routing cleaner in tight spots.
