got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC, will this adapter let me tie into an SAE o-ring boss port the same size?

For a straight connection between those two styles, it matches up as 9/16-18 male SAE O-Ring Boss on one end and 9/16-18 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other end, in a long straight steel adapter.
