Will this fitting work with a standard JIC flare?

That's right, this Eaton Aeroquip adapter has a 1-5/8-12 male JIC 37-degree flare on one end.

got a hose end thats -20 JIC, and i need to turn it 45 degrees into an SAE o-ring boss port. is this the right adapter?
