trying to swap out an elbow adapter, are the ends on this one 1-5/8-12 ORB male to 1-5/16-12 JIC male?

It is a 45 degree steel elbow adapter with a 1-5/8-12 male SAE O-Ring Boss (straight thread O-ring) on one end and a 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other.

Got a port on a hydraulic valve block that's SAE O-Ring Boss, but my hose end is a 1-5/16-12 JIC fitting. this adapter gonna bridge that gap at a 45 degree angle?

That's exactly what this part is built for. One end is a 1-5/8-12 male SAE O-Ring Boss (straight thread O-ring), and the other end is a 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare. The 45 degree elbow lets you route the hose off at an angle instead of running straight out, which saves you a lot of grief in tight spaces.
