Product Questions & Answers

got a hose end that’s 3/4 tube with a JIC 37 flare, will this elbow mate up to it?
Question by: Shane G on Jun 2, 2025, 1:48 PM
On the JIC side, it is a 1-1/16-12 male SAE 37 degree flare with a 0.75 inch tube OD callout, so it matches the common 3/4 tube JIC sizing. The other end is a 1-1/16-12 male SAE O-Ring Boss, so you would need a female ORB port on the mating part.

got a tight spot on a line, does this fitting turn the connection 45 degrees or is it straight
Question by: Cheryl W on Jun 2, 2025, 7:29 AM
For clearance work, it gives you a 45 degree elbow, so the two ends are not in a straight line.

Absolutely. Its applications include marine and military uses, along with chemical and food processing.

Got a line running from an SAE O-ring port and need to tie into a JIC 37 flare fitting at a 45 degree angle, this the right adapter for that?
Question by: Ronnie C on Jul 26, 2025, 2:06 PM
That's what this one handles. One end is a 1-1/16-12 male SAE O-ring boss, the other is a 1-1/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare, and the body sits at a 45 degree elbow. Both thread sizes are the same dash-12, so you're not reducing anything in the process. It's part of Eaton Aeroquip's 2061 series, built from steel, and carries catalog number C1AZ24 if you need to cross-reference it against any shop documentation.
