got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 JIC, will this adapter mate up to it and what’s on the other side?

what's the thread setup on this thing, is the male end a straight thread or does it have a taper to it?

The male end runs a 9/16-18 SAE O-Ring Boss, which is a straight thread design. It seals against a port using an O-ring rather than relying on a tapered thread crush like NPT does. The female end is a 3/4-16 JIC 37-degree flare swivel, so that side connects to a standard JIC fitting with the cone-style metal-to-metal seat. Two completely different connection styles on each end, which is exactly the point of an adapter like this.

trying to hook an ORB port to a JIC hose end, is this the right adapter or am i mixing up the threads
