got a tight spot on a line, is this the little 45 degree elbow that goes from 1/8-27 male NPT over to a 9/16-18 male SAE flare?

For that hookup, yes. It’s a steel 45 degree elbow adapter with a 1/8-27 male NPT pipe end on one side and a 9/16-18 male SAE 45 degree flare end on the other.
