trying to swap out a tee i busted, is this one the kind that’s got 1/8-27 npt on the branch and 1/2-20 jic on the run?

Fit comes down to the thread callouts. This tee is a pipe to 37 degree flare steel adapter with a 1/8-27 male NPT branch and a 1/2-20 male JIC 37 degree flare on the run ports.

got a 1/8 NPT port on a small hydraulic manifold and need to tee off to a JIC line, this the right fitting for that?

That setup is exactly what this adapter handles. The branch side is 1/8-27 Male NPT, which threads into your manifold port, and the run connections are 1/2-20 Male JIC 37 degree flare. So you can split off a JIC line right at that NPT port without any additional adapters in between.
