what's the thread setup on this tee? trying to figure out if the branch and the run are different sizes before i order

The branch port is 1/2-14 Male NPT and the run ports are 7/8-14 Male JIC 37 degree flare. So yes, you're working with two different thread standards on the same fitting. That's the whole point of this adapter style. It lets you tie an NPT pipe connection into a JIC flare line without needing extra fittings in between.
