Got a 1/4 NPT male port on a pump housing and need to swing it out to a 9/16-18 JIC line at a right angle. this the right part for that?

That's what this adapter handles. One end is 1/4-18 male NPT, the other is 9/16-18 male JIC with a 37 degree flare seat, and the body makes a 90 degree turn between them. The "longer" designation means the elbow has an extended leg compared to a standard 90, which gives you a little more clearance when you're working in a tight spot or need to clear a nearby fitting or bracket.
