Will this fitting work alright for connecting a 3/8" NPT pipe to a 1/2" JIC flared fitting?

i’ve got a hose end that’s 1/2-20 JIC, and the port on my manifold is 3/8-18 NPT. is this the straight adapter that ties those two together?

For that hookup, yes. It’s a straight steel adapter with a 3/8-18 male NPT on one end and a 1/2-20 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other.
