got a hose end that’s 1-5/16-12 JIC, does this adapter give me a 1 inch pipe thread on the other side?

On the JIC side, you are looking at a 1-5/16-12 male SAE 37 degree flare. The other end is a 1-11-1/2 male NPTF pipe thread, which is the common 1 inch NPTF size.

Will this adapter hold up in a marine environment where it'll be exposed to saltwater?
