got a 3/8-18 npt port on my line and need to turn it 90 and hook to a 3/4-16 jic, is this the right elbow?

For that hookup, it matches what you described. It is a 90 degree elbow adapter with a 3/8-18 male NPT (NPTF external pipe) on one end and a 3/4-16 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on the other.

Been trying to sort out the right adapter for a 3/8 male NPT port going into a 3/4-16 JIC female swivel connection at a 90 degree angle. This the one that fits that?

That's exactly the configuration this part covers. The 2250-6-8S steps from a 3/8-18 male NPT thread on one end to a 3/4-16 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on the other, and it does it at a 90 degree elbow. The swivel on the female JIC end is a real convenience when you're routing lines in tight spots since it lets you position the hose without fighting the fitting for alignment.
