trying to replace a tee i busted, is this the one that’s got 7/8-14 JIC on the straight run and a 1/2-14 female NPT off the side?

Function-wise, yes. It is a steel tee adapter with 7/8-14 male JIC 37 degree flare on the run and branch, and a 1/2-14 female NPT on the run port.

got a hydraulic line running 7/8-14 JIC on both ends of a tee and need to tap into it with a 1/2-14 NPT female port, this the right fitting for that setup?

that lines up exactly with what this tee is built for. The run ports are both 7/8-14 Male JIC 37 degree flare, and the branch comes off as 1/2-14 Female NPT, so your inline JIC connections stay intact while you pull an NPT branch off the middle. Steel construction means it holds up in standard hydraulic hydraulic connections applications without a lot of fuss.
