adapter's got a 9/16-18 JIC end on one side -- what size is the metric swivel end exactly?

The female swivel end is M14 x 1.5, and it's built to the L Series metric standard. That pairing makes it a go-to piece when you're bridging a JIC fitting on one component to a metric port on another. The swivel feature on that end also gives you a little wiggle room during installation so you're not fighting the line to get it to sit right.
