what all is this tee adapter meant to be used on? asking cause we run a mix of hydraulic and instrumentation lines and trying to figure out if it fits our setup

The 9/16-18 JIC 37-degree flare connections on all three ports make it a solid match for any hydraulic connections that already runs that thread and flare standard. If your lines are already JIC 37, you're in good shape.

got a bulkhead tee with 9/16-18 JIC on it now, is this the same deal for a straight swap

It matches a 9/16-18 male JIC 37 degree flare on the bulkhead run and a 9/16-18 male JIC 37 degree flare on the run and branch, in a tee layout. It is an Eaton Aeroquip forged adapter from the 203008 series, catalog number C1AX66.
