Both ends are 3/8-24 JIC, so this is basically a same-size fitting on both sides, right? Just want to make sure I ain't missing something before I order.

Correct on both counts. Both threads are 3/8-24 with a 37 degree flare, so you're connecting two identical JIC ends. The 90 degree elbow routes the line perpendicular, and the bulkhead configuration means it's meant to pass through a panel or wall. No reducing, no adapting between different sizes. Straight same-to-same with a directional change built in.
