trying to hook a 1/2-14 BSPP male port up to a BSPT male side, is this the right adapter for that?

For converting between those two British thread styles, it bridges a 1/2-14 male BSPP (parallel) connection over to a male BSPT (tapered) connection in a straight layout.

Got a BSPP fitting on one end and a BSPT on the other, both half-inch. This the right part to tie them together?
Question by: Jimmy R on Nov 30, 2025, 7:51 AM
That's what this adapter is built for. One end is 1/2-14 Male BSPP, the other is 1/2-14 Male BSPT, straight configuration. Both threads are the same nominal size, so if your ports match up to those specs, this will connect them cleanly. No additional thread sealant required either, which keeps the install pretty simple.
