What size hose will this adapter work with?

This adapter is designed for pressures through 4 light spiral hose, which should cover most common hydraulic applications in that range.

both ends are 9/16-18 JIC on this one, right? just want to make sure i'm not mixing up sizes before i order

Correct on both counts. The female swivel end and the male end are both 9/16-18 thread with a 37 degree flare, so you're working with a same-size union configuration. The swivel on the female side gives you some rotational flexibility during installation, which helps a lot when you're trying to avoid twisting the hose as you tighten things up.

i’ve got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC, will this long 90 degree swivel adapter match up or am i off a size

Fit comes down to the thread and flare style, and this one is 9/16-18 SAE 37 degree on both ends. One side is a 9/16-18 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel, and the other side is a 9/16-18 male JIC 37 degree flare, so it is meant to mate with matching 37 degree JIC flare connections in that same size.

what industries is this adapter actually used in? asking cause we run a pretty mixed operation and trying to figure out if it fits what we do
