got a hose end with a 3/8-18 female swivel on it, and i need to land it on a 1/2-14 male pipe thread. is that what this adapter does?

Function-wise, it is a straight adapter that goes from a 3/8-18 female NPT swivel (NPSM internal pipe swivel style) over to a 1/2-14 male NPTF external pipe thread.
