Will this adapter work for connecting a hydraulic line to a valve with the same thread size?

This straight adapter is designed to connect a 3/8-18 Female NPT Swivel to a 3/8-18 Male NPT. It should work for your hydraulic line to valve connection if they both have those thread sizes.

what industries is this adapter actually made for? asking cause i need something rated for chemical processing and dont want to get the wrong part

got a hose end with a female swivel, is this the straight adapter that goes 3/8-18 female NPT swivel over to 3/8-18 male NPT

Function-wise, it is a straight steel adapter that connects a 3/8-18 female NPT swivel (NPSM internal pipe swivel style) to a 3/8-18 male NPT (NPTF external pipe) end.
