i’ve got a hose end with a 1/4-18 female swivel, will this adapter let me go over to a 1/4-18 male npt on the other side?

Function-wise it is made for exactly that kind of hookup. One end is a 1/4-18 female NPT swivel (NPSM internal pipe swivel) and the other end is a straight 1/4-18 male NPT (NPTF external pipe), so it adapts a female swivel connection over to a male NPT connection in the same size.

Eaton Aeroquip put this one together with some pretty demanding environments in mind. Listed applications include marine and military use, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, and offshore drilling. If your operation falls into any of those categories, this adapter was spec'd with those conditions in mind from the start.
